Community Art Build
How can I create positive change?
If I could do anything without fear of failure, what would it be?
The message I hope the world hears is ___________.
If I could plant one seed for change, what would it grow into?
We say it a lot, but it really does take a village. Visitors and community members alike are invited to interact with a beautiful sculpture made by local artists by reflecting on how we can create something beautiful and courageous in our community and our world.
Want to help out?
We need community members to help guide people through the installation, represent Gizmo-CDA, and provide encouragement and conversation to visitors. We also need help with set up on July 31

Mutant Toy Take-Apart-a-Thon
12:00pm-2:00pm at the Kid's Booth
Let your imagination run wild!
At the Mutant Toy Take-Apart-a-Thon, kids can dive into a creative recycling adventure by dismantling old, broken toys and transforming them into wild, one-of-a-kind mutant creatures.
With a mix of parts, tools, and plenty of imagination, who knows what wacky, wonderful creations they’ll invent? This hands-on activity encourages problem-solving, play, and creative thinking, showing kids how old things can become something entirely new.
We provide the tools and materials, just bring your curiosity!
Want to help out?
We’re looking for volunteers to lead this 2-hour event at the kids’ booth,
sharing hand-tool techniques or offering creative guidance.
It’s a fantastic way to inspire the next generation of makers!
