- Perform daily tasks necessary to support an orderly, prepared environment, including attention to equipment upkeep and cleaning, ensuring the entirety of the makerspace is in good condition and ready for use
- Participate as a liaison between the Shop Assistants, Instructors, Members, Vendors, and the Executive Director
- Work with Gizmo-CdA, Inc. staff to coordinate the scheduling of classes and appointments
- Receive and route incoming calls appropriately. Take accurate telephone messages and deliver messages promptly
- Effectively troubleshoot and solve various situations, including ones that may be initially unfamiliar
- Deliver incoming mail and other deliveries to proper recipients. Perform other clerical duties assigned
- Perform other miscellaneous duties, including but not limited to, opening and closing procedures, based upon the assigned schedule

- Give tours to visiting school groups
- Assist with Lending Library check-ins and outs through the Airtable database
- Mindfully engage youth program participants, providing encouragement, feedback, and physical assistance as needed, but allowing the YOUTH to retain their autonomy as makers and problem solvers
