Students will learn about choosing patterns, making pattern pieces, choosing glass, cutting glass, fitting glass pieces and grinding , foiling, soldering and attaching a lead boarder and hook, applying polish and patina, and how to choose their next project.Learn the art of Stained Glass and create a window approximately 9''x 14'' using the copper-foil method. Students will learn cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering and finishing.

Glassblowing 101 - Introduction to Lampworking
This class is designed to teach and introduce students to the world of art glassblowing via lampworking.
Students will start with a thorough exercise in set-up and safety when working with torches and hot glass and gain an understanding of the tools and equipment used before starting their work. Students will learn basic design and color choices when creating glass art, followed by an instructor-led demo, and will finish with working hands-on for the rest of the class to make their own art with the instructor's help.
Students will not only take away a new understanding of glass art and the skills involved with making it, but they will also take home one-of-a-kind art they produce themselves.
The class will cover a broad overview of glass in general and intensely focus on specific techniques pertaining to the class.
