3d Printed tea light lamps

This ninety-minute session will introduce you to the basics of 3D modeling and the 3D printing workflow as we customize and prepare to print a miniature lamp for a flameless LED tealight candle! Experience the magic of transforming a computer drawing to a real-life printed object. Personalize your lamp with text, shape cut-outs or other simple, decorative elements in beginner-friendly TinkerCAD software. 

​Great for adults or kids ages 6 & up. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Each session includes one high-quality print of your lamp in PLA plastic and a flameless tealight to put inside -- print jobs will be started at the end of the session and available to pick up the next day. For the best experience, we recommend coming with an idea in mind of how you would like to customize your lamp. Guidelines for this will be provided via email when you book your session. Participants should also be comfortable using a computer mouse and keyboard and navigating within a web browser.

Gift coins must be presented in person at Gizmo when you come in for your experience. They will be marked when used, and you may keep the coin as a keepsake if you’d like. Lost coins will not be replaced.

Gift coins are redeemable for one person only, and one guardian may accompany minors. Due to COVID, we are limiting the number of people in the makerspace at a time.
